GEM Travel wins two prestigious awards for its new B2B web app, i-AIRPORT
We are proud to announce that GEM Travel and its innovative new project, i-AIRPORT, have been honored with two major awards! On March 21 st , we participated in the Tourism Awards 2017, an event that recognizes outstanding ideas and practices in the tourism industry.
i-AIRPORT was named Best New Solution for Tourism and also received the Silver Award for Customer Services!
i-AIRPORT is the first vertically integrated B2B web application in Greece that fully digitizes the meet-and-greet process for travelers arriving at Rhodes National Airport. Its functionality closely mirrors the check-in systems used by major airline companies, bringing greater efficiency and innovation to the travel experience.
Upon logging into the i-AIRPORT web platform, users enter a user-friendly environment through which they can:
- Recognize and identify the client.
- Check-in Online.
- Access all necessary information regarding the client’s hotel transfer.
- Monitor real-time boarding completion per vehicle.
